I leave the meeting without ending the meeting, come back in, enable my speaker, unmute everyone, again and again. My greatest challenge is when I open the meeting and I am aware that others are on the call but no one can hear me. Several have remarked that they like being able to dial a local number to access our call even though they are in different provinces. With the touch of three points I am fully running. I can open a meeting from my cell phone in less than 60 seconds. Many of our members have been very grateful to be able to participate in our services during a time when they could not attend a local church so for that we are immensely grateful.
I should state that we never use the video feature. I am aware that people have left our call because of background noise.
May I recommend that new users know how to teach their members how to mute and unmute themselves considering that land line phones have different features. Mods : Kindly request you to move this post into appropriate topic.We are grateful for this product and I have no trouble recommending it. PS : I have manuals for all these equipments, but they have only helped me to get confused further. And expect a rock solid soultion from this great forum. Looking forward for some soultion which only reuqires minimum investment. This will also help us to have a central database of phone numbers so not everyone has to make an excel file on their PC. The advantage we want is to dial from PC so that we don't have to retrieve a number from Outlook PC & then, lift the receiver & dial the number ( & also ensure that number is correctly dialed). No complicated functionalities (like voice data transfer from landline to PC, use landline as a modem etc) is required. It is only about controling the landline basic behaviour - of dialing numbers. Now, my query / requirement is that can we install some software on our PC (with win7, 64 bit), so that we can dial phone numbers from computer to these landline ? These LL phone has a USB connection (1.1 type), which can be connected to our computers. In our office, we have Siemens HiPath 4000 system for telephones.įew of the landline (LL) instrument provided to various users are Optipoint 500 - standard. I am looking forward for a solution to dial phone number from a PC.
